### About Carol Hughes

Growing up in a large and close-knit family, I discovered my passion for caring for others and offering assistance from a young age. I enjoyed helping family members, friends, and even strangers with tasks like carrying groceries, doing housework, delivering newspapers, and shoveling snow. These acts of kindness brought me genuine fulfillment, despite our modest means.

As I matured, I held onto my belief in helping others, motivated by the thought that there were always people in more difficult circumstances than myself. This commitment led me to join the U.S. Navy right after high school, where I served as a gunner mate aboard the USS Lexington and later as a hospital corpsman. These experiences instilled in me a deep sense of duty and a genuine desire to assist those in need.

Life eventually presented a new opportunity, leading me to manage a well-known national chain drug store in the United States for 25 years. During this time, I demonstrated my passion for helping others by empathetically listening to the stories and concerns of countless individuals. This profound connection redirected my path towards real estate.

While listening to empty nesters navigating the challenges of downsizing, I decided to specialize in the 55+ housing market. My real estate journey began in League City, where I quickly established a reputation as a Realtor known for genuine care and commitment.

Today, my services extend to Montgomery, Spring, Conroe, The Woodlands, Willis, and any other areas of interest to my clients. This expansion has solidified my position as an authority on 55+ living, with expertise spanning neighborhoods such as:
